Orexis Fresh Foods

Orexis Fresh Foods Ltd is a leading food manufacturer based in North London, specialising in chilled ready to eat products, with their main focus on fresh dips of all ethnic backgrounds. The Orexis brand has been widely recognised as a prominent producer in this sector of the industry for over 35 years, with an established following for their Greek speciality dips since the 1970’s. Orexis aspire to produce the very best quality products, at competitive prices using only the finest ingredients and using recipes, techniques and experience that produces the best flavours and taste.

Orexis manufactures all products at their North London site and operates in accordance with the HACCP and BRC (A-level) guidelines. At each step of the process, they do everything necessary to ensure the highest quality and best tasting products, they use only BRC accredited suppliers. 

We can supply the following dips in retail pots and large foodservice packs – Houmous, Tzatsiki, Taramosalata, Guacamole, Sour Cream & Chives, Fresh Salsa, Aubergine, Harissa Houmous, Reduced Fat Houmous, Baked Tomato Houmous, Roasted Red Pepper with Jalapeno and finally a unique Spicy Feta Dip.

Blackwood’s Foods also distribute ChicP Dips throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire & Surrey.

ChicP Hummus

ChicP creates a variety of sweet and savoury hummus from surplus and imperfect fruit and vegetables in London. 
The inspiration behind ChicP was founder, Hannah McCollum's passion to change attitudes to the way we approach cooking and waste... a chef turned entrepreneur.
Food waste is part of modern life, but it need not be this way. ChicP’s ethos is to be part of the drive to encourage people to think differently about the way they eat.

ChicP ticks all the boxes for current trends - health, fresh, innovative, sustainable, no waste, vegan, high in protein, natural and great for all members of the family. 

We currently sell 5 colourful, natural and innovative lines which include:
  • Beetroot, Horseradish & Sage
  • Carrot, Ginger & Turmeric 
  • Herby (Spinach & Parsley)
  • Velvet Hummus
  • Truffle Hummus

Our ethos is about supporting British farmers, helping to reduce waste and educating our customers around these subjects. We are also working towards our application to become a B Corp company so that we are recognised as a completely circular economy company.
Our range is produced in a BRC facility to ensure the highest quality and best tasting products.
